Trekking tours

 

I like to stay away from the most touristic routes and give you a genuine look at the way the locals live, farm and work. I'll take you through beautiful scenaries and remote hill tribe villages so you can experience the local nature and culture. These are some of the treks I usual do, but I can also plan a custom tour depending on your exact wishes.

 
 Day return trip (full day)  
 
Trek around Kalaw visiting various local tribes such as the Palaung and the Danu tribes. 
It's a 6 to 8 hours walk (17 to 20 km) which costs 20 USD for one person and 30 USD for two people.
Longer day trips of 9 to 11 hours (20 to 26 km) cost 30 USD for one person. For two people the price 
The prices include lunch and water.
 
 Around Kalaw (two days, one night)  
 
Staying at a monastery or family house in a local village. We'll walk an aveage of 5 to 6 hours (17 to 20 km) each day. For one person the price is 30 USD per day. For two people it costs 25 USD per day per person. If there are three to five people it's 20 USD per day per person. For groups of six or more people it costs 18 USD per day per person. The price includes 4 meals, accommodation and water.
 
 Kalaw - Inle Lake (two days, one night)  
 
On this trip we can see ethnic groups such as the Paoh, Danu, Taung Yoe and In Thar tribes, staying over night in their villages to see their daily life know their habits and exchange experiences. In this option we take a taxi to the point where we start walking towards Inle Lake. We'll walk 6 to 7 hours (16 to 22km per day). For one person the price is 30USD per day, for 2 people it's 25USD per day per person and for 3 to 5 people it's 20USD per day per person. For 6 or more people the price is 18 USD per day per person. Prices include 4 meals, accommodation and water. Extra for taxi: 8USD, 10USD, 15USD. Boat transfer to cross Inle Lake: 17USD. Luggage transfer: 5USD.
 
 Kalaw - Inle Lake (three days, two nights)  
 
This trip is similar to the two days/one night trip. We walk almost the same average distance per day but we get to visit the Palaung tribe near the Kalaw hill side and some other tribes, a total of at least 10 villages on the three days trek. On the first day we can see a tea garden, mountain rice, corn, ginger, chilli, tobacco, avocado, jack fruit, orange and other seasonal vegetables

Where will sleep?

We will sleep in villager’s house, traditional house or in a monastery for normal trip. Bamboo hut, farm house, natural cave, monastery or any kind of safe place for adventure and jungle trip. So we need a sleeping bag for every trekker.

What about my luggage?

You can safe you luggage in your hotel or in my office.

We also give transport service to your hotel or depend on your demand
